Steps : from the plant bath to the result
Plant coloring is obtained by mixing crushed plants into a very fine powder with hot water or a decoction (water in which have boiled for 2 to 25 minutes thehard parts of plants, such as roots, wood, seeds or bark).
This mixture, called the plant bath, is applied to the hair, left on, shampoo, rinse and repeat according to the desired shade, and here is colored hair, reinforced and shiny!
Tinctorial plants
The plants that are used are plants that have the particularity of giving color to hair. These plants are called "tinctorial plants". Indigo, rhubarb, beetroot,
hibiscus, black tea, chamomile, turmeric, rosemary… There are 22 tinctorial plants ground into one
very fine powder that make up the Marcapar plant colors!
